In Jan 2026 I spent a couple of nights at Atlas Hotel, Brussels. I really liked the location - on a quiet street, but in (what I deemed) a nice neighbourhood and good walking distance to Grand-Place. There is a metro station and a couple of bus stops within a 5 min walk to get you around with ease and Het Zinneke (peeing dog statue) is at the end of the street The staff were friendly and professional. My interactions with them were very positive each time My room was on the first floor. It was more spacious than I expected; I was pleasantly surprised. It was very clean and had decent natural light. The room is by the lifts and cleaning cupboard. Below the window I believe is an outdoor area from the kitchen. If you are a light sleeper or like a lie-in, this may not be the room for you as it can get a tad noisy intermittently between 8am and 11am (on account of the cleaners and kitchen staff going about their daily duties/tasks). This did not negatively impact my own stay, but worth noting. My stay included a continental breakfast buffet which was decent. I would stay at this hotel again.
For slightly over €110 a night, it’s not the most lavish hotel, however the hotel is very clean and in an exceptional location. The beds were comfy, pillows weren’t great though. They have done enough to keep the hotel as a solid 3 star hotel. Pro: - Location - Cleanliness - Customer Service - Aircon in rooms - Overall presentation is modern Cons: - Price is average - pillows - No fridge - Small shower You’ll genuinely be happy with this property. Just the pricing, lack of fridge and pillows is only reason I didn’t give 5 stars.
The hotel is well situated in Brussels and the area is safe at night. The hotel itself could do with a much needed updated but honestly how much time does one stay in their room while on vacation? The hotel staff are excellent and very attentive. Had an issue with my booking which was 100% on me and they made the necessary changes right away. They do offer a continental breakfast for a fee but I recommend trying one of the many excellent cafes in the area.
The location of the hotel is brilliant. Not sure why everyone says the breakfast is amazing, it is basic. Rooms were OK, we had a weird smell in our room, from the bedding
While raining, the wall leaked under the window, absolutely soaking the clothes i had washed and folded the night before. The windowsill was dry, so it was not from the window. The window was also fully closed. When i went down to talk with the front desk about the leak, and asked if i could have some assistance rewashing my now soiled clothes I was told 'What, do you not have enough money to wash your clothes'. When I tried to explain that I had washed them the night before I was told 'Well why didnt you close the window' and 'Why did you put your clothes near the window'. I had the clothes on a raised area near the window, and had no reason to belive that the walls would leak massive amounts of water at night. I am shocked about how I was treated as if it was my fault that a building leak soiled my belongings. I cannot recommend this hotel.
