We were recommended this restaurant, and it did not disappoint. We arrived on a Friday at 8pm in early April without a reservation, but were lucky enough to be seated right away. The service is attentive and friendly, and the ambiance was nice. The bread we received was still warm, and my wife ended asking for another piece. We ordered the mussel in butter, garlic, parsley sauce as appetizer and it was fantastic. The mussels were butter soft and the sauce w¹asn't too salty or bland. My trio of homemade specialty was ok which is to say nothing mind blowing or disappointed. My wife's sole was very good though. We had tiramisu for dessert, and that is pretty good but a lot of people were opting for the cooked on the table near us crepes. Overall we were happy with the meal, and thought it justified the price.

A must do if visiting Brussels. It costs a little more when compared to other Belgian resurarants in the area. But it's within a stone’s throw from Grand Place. I had the mussels and fries. It was a delightful experience. Service was deliberate and attentive. Lots of showmanship with service but the flair complemented it well. They also do tableside service.

Amazing experience at this restaurant. Greeted by very friendly staff, who looked after us all evening. The food was spot on. We had Carbonnade Flamande and a Rack of Lamb - both were delicious. Clean and tidy. Great value for money. Highly recommend!

A historic place with a beautiful atmosphere and authentic Belgian charm. The food is excellent, with traditional dishes done right and great attention to quality. Service is professional and efficient, even though the restaurant is quite popular. Definitely a must-visit if you want to experience classic Belgian cuisine in Brussels.

Had a lovely dinner at Aux Armes de Bruxelles 🍽️ For starters, I ordered cheese croquettes and a bowl of mushrooms with garlic and parsley for main course —both were absolutely delicious and full of flavour. What really stood out was the excellent guidance from the server, who gave perfect recommendations on which drinks would pair best with our dishes. The suggestions were spot on and enhanced the whole dining experience. As a vegetarian, I was happy to find some good options, though I would say the menu is a bit limited in that regard. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for a great dining experience, especially if you appreciate attentive service and well-prepared dishes!:
