This was one of the best hotels I stayed at overall. My family and I traveled here from Amsterdam and it was a complete 180. Check-in was incredibly fast, and the staff were so kind. We were placed on the top floor (6th) and the view was immaculate. The room was quite spacious, perfectly equipped with everything we needed, and the bathrooms were very clean and modern. The location is fantastic, with tons of restaurants and tourist attractions within a short walking distance. Everywhere we wanted to go was just a 10 minute walk or less.

Location is right in the Center, by the old bourse, and grand place. Hard to beat that, and we were welcomed so nicely by Andre at the front desk. He was very courteous, helped us with a few requests and just set our stay off to a very positive start. As a Platinum guest, we were upgraded to a nice corner suite and were able to use the lounge as well, which had a nice little buffet for the evening/dinner time. Breakfast buffet in the restaurant was fairly standard and had everything one would expect. This hotel was very convenient all around, and even though it can get quite busy and noisy on the plaza outside, the insulation of the windows in the room was really good. No trouble getting a good night's rest here, while being in the center of it all. I'd definitely stay again when in Brussels.

The Marriott Hotel Grand Place Brussels offers a truly memorable stay in the heart of the city, combining comfort, convenience, and attentive service in a way that consistently leaves a positive impression. From the moment you arrive, the location stands out as one of the hotel’s greatest strengths. Situated just steps from the iconic Grand Place, it places you within walking distance of Brussels’ most charming streets, historic architecture, bustling cafés, and vibrant cultural attractions. Whether you’re visiting for business or leisure, having everything so close adds tremendous value to the overall experience. The rooms are lovely, featuring a thoughtful blend of modern amenities and warm décor that creates a relaxing atmosphere after a day of exploring. Beds are comfortable, soundproofing is excellent, and the spaces feel well cared for. Many rooms also offer welcoming touches such as quality linens, generous storage, and spotless bathrooms, contributing to a sense of quality you’d expect from a Marriott property. Service throughout the hotel is friendly and professional. Staff members are quick to assist, whether you need local recommendations, help with transportation, or simply a smooth check-in. The lobby and common areas maintain a refined yet inviting ambiance, making them pleasant places to unwind or plan your day. One point worth noting is the car park, which, although secure and conveniently located, is on the expensive side at 40 euros per night. Guests driving into the city may want to factor this into their budget. Overall, the Marriott Hotel Grand Place Brussels provides an excellent stay marked by comfort, style, and unbeatable proximity to the city’s highlights.

Our stay at the hotel was for one night as a short getaway. The property is conveniently located approximately a 10-minute drive from the train station. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the front desk staff. Although our room was not ready at check-in, we were able to leave our luggage and explore the surrounding area. The hotel is situated in a very central location, with a wide variety of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance in all directions. When we returned, we were informed that our room was still unavailable; however, we were kindly upgraded to a room overlooking the city square. The room itself was modern, well-appointed, and spacious. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel, particularly for those who wish to explore the area on foot. The convenience of having a metro station just outside the hotel further enhances its excellent location.

Location is great. Can't beat that. Run of the mill typical Marriott room. I would not pay more for a higher room as the windows are small and nit very big. Ie, you can't see much out of them (clearly they know that as you arrive into a room with curtains drawn). A big issue for me was having a room with interconnecting doors. They are very poorly insulated. People speaking at normal volume can be heard - and the young ladies coming back at 2am woke us up and kept yapping for an hour. We stayed prior two nights at the Accor Adagio 100m further up and it was a by far more restful sleep. Second issue was that upon departure we opted for the hotels service to book their taxi partner for transport to airport. We were told it would be a flat fee of EUR50 by the concierge. When we arrived at the airport, the driver (whose car smelled heavily of smoke) first keyed in EUR65 into the card terminal. When we said we were told otherwise, he changed it to EUR60. Then upon insisting that it should only be EUR50, he begrudgingly keyed in EUR50 while mumbling about traffic and that he is not a airport transfer service. The hotel might want to reconsider who they appoint as transport partners. Reaching the airport smelling of smoke and then having to argue about the fee is not how I enjoy ending my trip.
