Recently returned from a 4 night stay at Agora in the family duplex suite. The staff are amazing, helpful and kind. The building is beautiful and in a fantastic central position. The room was lovely and spacious and we were taken to our room on arrival which was a nice touch, but the mattresses kept sliding off the beds at night and the pillows were uncomfortable (all broken up inside). It was very noisy outside and building work, deliveries etc seemed to go on most of the night but with the windows closed, most of the noise was kept out. We went in June and it was relatively cool but can imagine in the heat, you may have to keep them open which may be too noisy for much sleep. The duplex feature was great and gave my child and us more privacy. We didn’t have any issues with the low ceilings as we were aware of this at the time of booking. The room had a great view of a busy square. There is a Burger King, waffle shop and a Korean corn dog food joint all within a minute’s walk which was great. Central station was very close to walk. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. Gentleman at the desk, Roman(I believe)was very helpful at getting us checked in early. The hotel is in the perfect location in regards to anything you will want to see in Brussels (tourist attractions). Stones throw from Central Station as well. It was very quiet at night and in the morning when we opened our windows, the smell of waffles filled the air. I will suggest locking any valuable in a safe downstairs. I wish they had them built into the rooms for convenience. Other than that, we felt welcomed. Everyone at the front desk was incredibly helpful with directions and food recommendations, etc.

Great stay overall. The location is 10/10, and the staff were very friendly and always happy to help. The hotel is basic, but it has everything you need. Just note that not all rooms have AC, so if you’re visiting in warm weather, make sure to request one with air conditioning. Special thanks to Eve for helping me with everything during my stay.

Lots of advantages for staying: central location, helpfull staff, could leave luggage at reception on check out day, welcome water, lots of cafes, supermarket, great specialty coffee cafe Covica in a two-min walk. 3 min from train station, clean, good bathroom facilities, air-conditioner, black out curtains, hair-dryer, kettle for tea, comfy beds. Disadvantages: noisy square outside if you prefer open window, can hear other doors, stairs (could be uncomfortable for elderly), although the staff helped with bags.

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Agora. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, making us feel truly welcome. The level of service was outstanding! The location is simply unbeatable. It is perfectly situated within walking distance of all the major sightseeing spots, including the magnificent Grand Place and the Central Station (Gare Centrale), making it incredibly convenient for exploring Brussels. Our room was charming and lovely. It was the perfect size—not too small and not too big—with a high ceiling that made the space feel elegant and airy. The overall design and cozy atmosphere make this hotel an ideal choice for couples looking for a romantic getaway. If we ever return to Brussels, we would not hesitate to book our stay here again. Highly, highly recommend! Five stars all around!
