Reviews
I do not recommend this place at all. It felt unsafe and did not resemble a real hotel — it was more like a brothel. The room next to mine was rented by the hour to couples, not for overnight stays. The same people were smoking, drinking, and doing everything inside the room. Because there was a connecting door between my room and the neighboring one, I could hear everything as if it were happening in my own room. The smell of cigarettes also came directly into my room, making the stay extremely uncomfortable. The hotel does not meet any 3-star standards. There were very few guests, and the hotel felt empty, which added to the feeling of insecurity. I know the manager or the owner will see this review. I did not complain directly during my stay because it was already my last night, and I will never come back again. For your information, I was staying in room 134A. You asked me to leave a review, and this is my honest review. The only positive points were that the room was clean and the staff were polite. However, this is not enough to compensate for the overall experience. I would never recommend staying here.
The owner is a very nice human being. He is a muslim and does anything to help you. He helped others as well to get accomodated. The room is big enough and has all the necesarry things, it is very clean. The walls are impressive feats of art because of the level of detail. Walking from the reception to the room feels like a museum exploration. The location is spot on, right in the historic centre, so you cannot ask for more.
This hotel is absolutely not suitable for young people, especially if you enjoy nightlife or if you smoke. The night staff member who opens the door was very rude and disrespectful. When I complained to the management, their response was basically “don’t come back late” and “don’t even go outside for a cigarette.” The bed was also very uncomfortable, which made the stay even worse. When I asked to cancel my reservation because of this unacceptable treatment, they refused to refund my money. Very disappointing experience and definitely not a welcoming place.
The owner of this hotel is a thorough gentleman. He goes out of his way to help his residents, that for me, proved to be invaluable. The rooms are clean and very well maintained. The location is perfect, right in the centre of Brussels. I can happily recommend this hotel, for excellent it's excellent value, service, and comfortable accommodation.
One of the best experiences we’ve had while staying in a hotel in Europe. Hotel Mozart is a visual treat for true connoisseurs of interiors and décor, the rich Moroccan artwork is a standout highlight of the space. We stayed in the Executive Suite for nine full days and nights and had an absolutely wonderful time. Our room was beautiful, spacious, and impeccably clean, perfect for a family of four. The staff was extremely friendly and always eager to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable. You truly couldn’t ask for a better location when visiting Brussels: centrally located in downtown, within walking distance of most major landmarks, and surrounded by fantastic dining and shopping options. Between the exquisite sightseeing and the comfort of the hotel, our experience exceeded all expectations. I can confidently say, if you are visiting Brussels, Hotel Mozart is a must visit.
