My husband and I loved everything about this hotel. The room was spacious and had a bathroom with a separate tub and shower. It was promptly cleaned daily, and supplied with fresh bottled water. Charles was at the front desk when we checked in and throughout the duration of our stay. He provided excellent dining recommendations and was extremely attentive to our needs. Service was standout. The location is also great for dining and tram stops.

The hotel was very satisfactory & was close to transit that got me to places that I wanted to go. The staff was superb, friendly & helpful. The room was quite large for a European hotel but I am unaccustomed to a separate room for the toilet. It was an adjustment. The rooms are also somewhat dated in decor but that's only my opinion - it was quite comfortable.

This hotel is definitely five stars…out of ten. For €1.300 I would have expected nice amenities like, you know, more than one towel in the bathroom or AC that actually functioned. Sheets that had a higher thread count than 10. But alas no. This piece of garbage property was the most overpriced, under valued hotel stays since the Motel 6 in Albuquerque with the air conditioning above the bed that dripped on me all night. Our King bed was one of those deals where they squish two twin beds together, each with its own blanket. Ideal for awkward business trips where colleagues are forced to bunk together. Not so much for those of us who actually enjoy proximity to our partners. The one thing this place going for it was location. Just down the street there’s a square that had an amazing farmers market, great shops and restaurants, and a dozen places to get something sweet. My recommendation, though, is stay someplace else and visit the neighborhood. Then go back to your affordable, actual 5-star hotel.

Its an hotel, as hotels go its okay, walls seemed to be extra thin so sounds from corridors and other rooms seemed to penetrate. There was mould around the bath taps and the only way to switch off one of the bedside lights was to flick a master switch which turned off everything so phones etc didn't charge. BUT, don't let that put you off. I would definitely stay there again. The staff were lovely especially the barman who remembered our order from the previous night. The bar was a nice, quiet place to watch the world cup. Its also a must for whisky afficinados! Best off all the hotel is named after the local area, which is a haven for a local secret of bars and restaurants. Turn right out of the hotel and within about two hundred metres you'll find a large pedestrianised area with fountains that the children play in. Its an ideal place to walk, talk, sit, admire the eco garden and of course eat and drink! If you want go head into town its only about two and a half kms or get the 93 or 8 tram just metres from the hotel

Staff were lovely but I wouldn’t class this hotel as a five star hotel. Despite booking a room for two, we were only given one towel, a bathrobe and one pair of slippers so had to request this. Hairdryer didn’t work so had to request a portable one. Bathroom also didn’t drain well …Worst thing about this hotel was the breakfast. To our shock and horror, we noticed that were insects crawling on the salmon and several little flies flying around the area. I raised this with the staff and they apologised and immediately took it away. However, there were bugs crawling/flying over the fruit and the cold cuts so breakfast was very limited and an unpleasant experience for us. It got even worse because the flies started to crawl on the food we selected when we sat down and we told this to the kitchen manager who then asked the chef to remove all of the exposed food and replace it. We reported this to the manager of the hotel who offered his apologies. We are later given a complimentary drink voucher with a written apology. Wouldn’t recommend…
