We showed up at 10pm on a Monday so there was not a problem getting seated. The servers were friendly and prompt. We ordered the escargot and razor clams as appetizer. Both were tender, fresh and flavorful. The pot of mussels in white wine and garlic sauce was huge. Like the appetizers, the mussels did not disappoint. The sauce is light and the mussels were tender, so we were able to almost finish the pot. Overall we had a wonderful dining experience, and would definitely return.
The food was excellent across the board, but there are two areas I would like to mention for potential improvement. First, regarding the table setting: for our party of three, the cutlery was laid out in three different ways, none of which followed standard service etiquette. Second, since most of the dishes are eaten by hand, it would be much appreciated if wet towels or wet wipes could be provided for guests to clean their hands.
Mussels and day of the soup were really fresh and delicious. Staff are very friendly and reply swiftly. Would love to try the other seafood next time. Very happy dinner! Worth to visit
The oysters were fresh and tasty, and the staff was friendly and attentive. However, the main issue was hygiene and cleanliness, which unfortunately affected the overall experience. Plates were being wiped down in front of guests, and one arrived still wet, which looked quite questionable. We also asked for lobster tools but were told none were available, so we had to use regular forks instead. This is not a fine dining restaurant, but basic cleanliness and proper attention to hygiene should still be expected.
We had a truly wonderful dining experience, and the food was absolutely excellent across the board—a real 10/10 for the kitchen! Just as a small tip to help elevate the experience even further: it would be lovely to see the table settings more consistent with standard etiquette, as our party of three noticed a few variations in how the cutlery was placed. Also, since so many of your delicious dishes are best enjoyed by hand, providing wet towels or wipes would be a thoughtful touch that guests would surely appreciate. We can't wait to come back!
