Thanks to google maps and ChatGPT we were able to find this local gem. Food is great, the music and the atmosphere is perfect after walking through Brussels. My wife and I had a lovely meal here last Saturday. My wife had the chicken vol-au-vent and I had the trio of Belgian main courses (smaller versions of course). Both came with homemade frites which were superb as was everything else. Service was good and staff were friendly. We will certainly be back.
I just left Le Vintage. The food was amazing and Mario was kind and helpful. He even recommended beers I would like based on what I was ordering. Outside of the food, the vibe of the place was great and people were very friendly - even to an American who knew little French.
We had a goat cheese salad and a steak. Both were very nice. They also gave bread rolls and salsa as a starter which is also great. Exceptional service. The host Angelica was so incredibly sweet and attentive to all customers.
We wanted a flavor of Belgium specialities The trio belge was perfect, with French fries and a green salade with tomatoes. Due to late coming, we were promptly and gently invited to choose our meal before the cooker had finished their service. And Mateo was warmly professional.
